Raye is considered to be the more serious and toughest of the inner Sailor Scouts and with good reason as she defeated her first Negaverse monster in a parallel world. Powered by her anger, Sailor Mars' fire is ignited to disintigrate her enemies into dust. When she first found the transformation pen she found it lying on the ground by accident instead of it being directly given to Raye.
She was set to be a Sailor Scout even before she realized it. She was able to tap into the power of fire and be able to detect negative energy. This came in handy when the Negaverse used her Cherry Temple to gather energy. Luckily she was able to stop Jedite before he could gather anymore energy for the Negaverse.

Raye uses her transformation pen to transform into Sailor Mars.
Mars, Fire, Ignite!
Sailor Mars uses her anger to help ignite a ball of fire in her hands and shoots it at her enemies like a bullet.
Mars, Fire Balls, Charge!
Sailor Mars uses an Ofuda with japanese characters saying "Banish this evil" to paralize her enemies in their tracks.
Sailor Moon R Series
Mars, Power!
Raye uses her transformation pen to transform into Sailor Mars in the first half of the Sailor Moon R Series.
Mars, Fire Bird, Strike!
Sailor Mars creates a Phoenix from her fire ball able to dodge and bob around the attacks of her enemies. This makes it almost gaurenteed to hit it's target.
Mars, Star, Power!
Raye transforms into Sailor Mars using her new transformation wand. This starts during the second half of the Sailor Moon R Series.
Mars, Fire Star, Flash!
Only done once, Sailor Mars empowers her fireball to create a ray of fire to battle Catsy. Although, as hard as she tries, this still won't beat her. This was done once in the second part of the Sailor Moon R Series.
Mars, Celestial, Fire, Surround!
Using her 8 signs of meditation she creates 8 rings of fire, and channels them into her palm. She then shoots them in seperate directions towards a target.

When she first uses the power of Pegasus, she frees Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Mini Moon.

Mars, Flame, Sniper! (Done in the Supers movie)
Super Sailor Mars creates an arrow out of flames and strikes her enemies with it.
